November Calendar

Today is Guy Fawkes’ Day, a k a Bonfire Night in Britain. If you want to learn about this early day “wanna-be terrorist”, there is material in the Calendar.
In two weeks’ time, there is the International Day of Tolerance and WebEnglish.se has a whole page on Tolerance for your 7th-9th graders.
Thanksgiving is, second only to Christmas, celebrated in America at the end of November with the following Black Friday, which officially starts the Christmas shopping frenzy. Right after that we are into December. Apart from the general Christmas Page, there will be an Advent Calendar (available at a later date), just like last year. Link: Calendar
