However good it might feel sometimes to just browse around and let oneself be inspired, there is not always time for that. WebEnglish.se materials have grown to such volumes that we decided to add two search utilities for your convenience: one for just links (over 500 and counting) and one for themes, which also looks through old blog posts. To be on the safe side, search in both! I just tried to find the clip where dogs eat Christmas dinner, and all I needed to do was type “dogs” and there it was, inside the Best of Christmas 6-9 page. You’ll find the search functions on the top right-hand side on the category pages. Go find all the things you thought you had lost!
Teachers Need Teachers
Yesterday, WebEnglish.se was taking part in a seminar of ICT in language education at @Skolverket, listening to several great teachers’ brilliant presentations of their innovative teaching practices, and later socialising with them over a delicious dinner and a glass of wine. This was an important reminder of how essential it is for a teacher’s mind to find oneself among others who think alike. The amount of passion, empathy and reciprocity felt in the group was unfathomably high. WebEnglish.se wishes such communities to every teacher in order to Rekindle Your Passion over and over again, whenever in dire need (like nearly at the end of a long term).

Christmas Is Early This Year
WebEnglish.se had planned to publish the updated Christmas pages first on Black Friday, but as there seem to be several teachers who are already eager to plan their Christmas activities, we wanted to heed the need. Last year’s Best of Christmas Page is now divided into two pages.
There is Best of Christmas 1-6 for beginner to elementary students and Best of Christmas 6-9 for Lower Intermediate to Intermediate students. Swedish year 6 teachers can choose which page they use as the same acitivities for year 6 are in both.
There will be an Advent Calendar available, as well. The planned publication day is Black Friday, November 27th.

Book Review Templates
WebEnglish.se has added Book Review Templates that can be used generally with any books the students read. WebEnglish.se wishes to inspire teachers to let their students choose the books they want to read according to each student’s interests and language level.
“Life’s too short to read books you don’t like“(Outi Frisk).
To make the templates easier to find, they have been added to the Books, Reading and Writing lists of each level, year 2-9.

Spread Inspiration via WebEnglish.se
WebEnglish.se has opened a new link category for intermediate (yr 7-9) students. To start with, there are six links to amusing and inspiring talks that the site author has already successfully used in her classes this autumn. The idea is to watch, to discuss and write about the thoughts that the video has brought to mind.
