After two days of listening to various speakers at a conference on Future Learning, I came out with the following convictions. Unfortunately, while some municipalities in Sweden have been developing their education according to these principles for the last 20 years, others haven’t even started yet.
1) In the future, all school materials are in a cloud, not in books.
2) Many of the careers our students will have in the future have not been invented yet
3) The skills that today’s students need in order to cope in their future world are not the three R’s but the ones in the image and the following video. Link: 21st century skills
