Teaching Black History

February is Black History Month in the US. One of my classes (B1-level) wished to learn more about the Civil Rights, so I combined the two concepts into a new Theme Page. Most of the materials are for this intermediate level, but some are marked A2, for easier access. Apart from this new page, WebEnglish.se already has theme pages on Slavery, Racism, Tolerance, Martin Luther King Jr, and Human Rights.  I am actually planning to let my students look for information in all of these and compile their own presentation about the facts and angles that they find most interesting.

The new theme page is called Black History – Civil Rights
