Remembrance Day

Remembrance Day is also called Armistice Day, Poppy Day, or Veterans’ Day. An armistice is a formal agreement of warring parties to stop fighting. Armistice Day is commemorated every year on 11 November to mark the armistice signed between the Allies of World War I and Germany at Compiègne, France (Wikipedia)
